Solid Round

The Acoustic Solid Round combines our precision-machined "zero tolerance" bearing with a 100mm thick chassis made from high-tech materials, to produce a turntable offering exceptional performance at a surprisingly reasonable price. It also incorporates many other standard Acoustic Solid high performance features. These include a heavy 60mm thick aluminium platter to smooth out residual motor cogging; a high quality synchronous motor driven by our own microprocessor controller; a separately housed motor to isolate the turntable from any residual motor vibration and a natural leather and acrylic sheet platter mat. The unit can accommodate two tone arms and is supported on three independently adjustable spikes. Felt backed casters are provided to allow the turntable to be used on fragile surfaces.

The design of the Acoustic Solid Round makes it very resistant to resonances. As a result it provides the listener with well-controlled and clean bass and a very high level of transparency. This translates into a turntable that allows the listener to truly experience the unique enjoyment and musical satisfaction that is to be obtained from analogue playback.
